
ARD provides opportunity to Cambodian,
particularly for young graduates, local people, and NGO staffs to get more additional
knowledge related to the Community Development, Ecological Agriculture, Natural Resource
and Environment Management. Since April 2006 till April 2007, ARD has been conducting 5 different
subjects of training courses with 214 trainees (67 women) who are young graduates and NGO staff, those are:
- Community Development Works: 40 trainees (12 women)
- Natural Resource and Environment Management: 33 trainees (12 women)
- Development Project Management: 68 trainees (19 women)
- Facilitation Skill: 28 trainees (6 women)
- Carrier Development: 45 trainees (19 women)

Community Development: ARD is contributing actively to assist the poor in
rural community through providing training and demonstration on technology of ecological
agriculture. One poor commune (Pich Mony commune) of Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province
was selected as ARD targeted area and we provided training and demonstration on Chicken Raising with natural method for the 20 poor farmers.
Currently, ARD are implementing the community development project in order to contribute in livelihood improvement for the farmer in rural areas. These projects are including three main sections:

II. Self Help Group: After participating in the workshop sponsored by Heifer International on Partnership for Rural Development, ARD started to facilitate in establish one self help group in Kanleng Romeas village, Pich Mony Commune, Kong Pisey District, Kampong Speu Province. The group comprises 18 family representatives and they are strong commitment to contribute their money for saving into the group with amount of 2000 Riels per month per family. This group was running from June with participation from local authority to act as advisor for the group.

Library at ARD office is opening for all learners to search and borrow documents at every working hours from Monday to Friday. The documents of ARD library includes Agriculture; Natural Resource and Environment; Community Development and Gender; Human Right, Democratic, and Law; Management, Economic, and Business; Language; Computer Science; Health; General Knowledge.

- Training: Building and improving capacity of NGO staffs to be able to manage and implement the project effectively.
- Survey/Research: To find out strength and weakness, and identify key issues with appropriate solution and recommendation.
